We are delighted to announce the first recipient of our Giving Back program is Bedford MacDonald House.
The only emergency men’s shelter in Prince Edward Island.
The Salvation Army has proudly operated Bedford MacDonald House in Charlottetown for seven years.
Located at 184 Weymouth Street in Charlottetown, Bedford MacDonald House provides emergency services for men aged 18 years and older. It is a front door to many supportive services in the community.
Bedford MacDonald House offers 24-hour support to men who are experiencing homelessness, provides a safe haven, and facilitates the first steps in gaining momentum and structure into in the lives of these men by providing warmth, care, a healthy diet, employment and housing searches.

Our company’s Giving Back program supports local island charities or deserving individuals who are making a difference in the lives of others in our communities, those who need support during a difficult time, a deserving local student or island family benefit.
It is also to bring attention to local island charities and the need for support in our community.
We will choose 4 recipients every year who will receive a financial donation from every sale though our office.
